Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information CelerDevs ("we", "us") collects through www.celerdevs.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).
Who we are
CelerDevs is a software development studio at Adeniyi Jones Ave, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. We are the data controller for the information described here. For any privacy question or request, email info@celerdevs.com.
What we collect and why
When you use our contact form
We collect your name, email address, and optionally your company name and phone number, plus your rough budget and the message you write. We use this to reply to you, discuss your project and prepare a proposal. We send you one automatic email confirming we received your message. We rely on your consent and on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
When you subscribe to our newsletter
We collect your email address to send you occasional emails about software, payments and automation. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or emailing us.
When you book a call
Call bookings are handled by Cal.com, which collects the details you enter in the booking form (such as your name, email and notes) and shares them with us so we can hold the call. Calls usually take place over Google Meet. Cal.com and Google process this information under their own privacy policies.
When you visit the site
Our server keeps standard technical logs (your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to keep the site secure, prevent abuse such as spam, and fix errors. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information.
Cookies
The site only sets cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work: a security cookie that protects our forms against cross-site request forgery, and, for our own staff only, a login session cookie for the site's admin area. If you open the booking popup, Cal.com may set its own cookies to run the booking calendar.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, and only as much as they need:
- our website hosting provider, which stores the site and its database;
- our email provider, which delivers the emails we send and receive;
- Cal.com and Google, for call bookings and video calls.
Some of these providers store data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards the NDPA requires for cross-border transfers. We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries from the contact form: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep project records for as long as needed for the contract and our legal obligations.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
How we protect it
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to stored enquiries is limited to authorised staff with individual logins, the server is kept up to date with security patches, and backups are kept securely.
Your rights
Under the NDPA you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use it;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it.
To make any of these requests, email info@celerdevs.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
