Web & Mobile App Development
Web and mobile apps that work on the phones your customers actually have
An app that feels fast on a developer's laptop can crawl on a mid-range Android phone on a patchy network. Most of your users are on Android, many are watching their data, and a lot of them will pay by bank transfer. We design for that from the first screen.
Talk to us about your projectYou probably need this if…
- You have an idea for a product and need it built properly, not as a prototype you'll have to throw away.
- Your current app is slow, crashes, or gets reviews complaining about data usage.
- Customers are asking to pay or book online and you're still doing it over WhatsApp.
- You need one codebase that covers Android, iPhone and the web without tripling your budget.
What you get
Design before code
Clickable Figma screens you can put in front of real customers before a line of code is written, so the expensive changes happen when they're cheap.
Local payments
Card, bank transfer and USSD through Paystack, Flutterwave or Monnify, with dedicated virtual accounts where transfers are how your customers prefer to pay.
Performance on real devices
We test on mid-range Android phones and throttled connections, keep app size and image weight down, and make sure key screens still work offline.
An admin dashboard
A web dashboard for your team to manage users, orders and content without calling a developer.
App store submission
We handle the Google Play and Apple App Store listings, review process and release builds.
How a project runs
-
Scope and design
User flows, Figma screens and a written scope for version one. You test the design with customers before we build.
-
Build in short cycles
Working builds on your own phone every one to two weeks through TestFlight and Play Console internal testing.
-
Launch
Store submission, production hosting, crash reporting and analytics so you can see how people actually use it.
-
Grow it
After launch we look at the data with you and plan the next release around what users do, not what we guessed.
What we typically use
- React
- React Native
- Flutter
- Next.js
- Node.js
- Python / Django
- PostgreSQL
- Figma
- Paystack / Flutterwave / Monnify
These are tools we use often, not a fixed list. We choose the stack for each project based on what fits it best: your budget, your team, what you already run, and how the system needs to grow.
Common questions
Should I build a web app or a mobile app first?
If customers will use it occasionally, or you need to be found on Google, start with a fast web app. If they'll use it daily, need notifications, or need it to work offline, a mobile app is worth it. We often build the web version first and reuse its backend and design work for the mobile app.
Can you build for both Android and iPhone?
Yes. We build cross-platform apps with Flutter or React Native, so one codebase produces both apps, which keeps cost and maintenance down. Which one we pick depends on your project: React Native shares more code with a React web app, while Flutter gives very consistent visuals across devices.
Which payment gateway should I use?
It depends on how your customers pay and your settlement needs. Paystack and Flutterwave are strong on cards and international payments; Monnify is good for bank transfers into dedicated accounts. We'll recommend one based on how your customers pay and how you want to be settled.
Do you work with clients outside Nigeria?
Yes. We work remotely and can quote in dollars, pounds or euros if you prefer.
Have something like this in mind?
A few lines about the problem is enough to start. We'll reply with questions and an honest view of how we'd approach it.
