For UK businesses

Software for UK businesses, from a team that keeps London hours

Lagos is on London time for half the year and one hour ahead for the rest. So we're online when you are, on a call the same afternoon you ask, and you never wait overnight for an answer. You get experienced engineers at Lagos rates, a fixed quote in pounds, and code and accounts that belong to you from day one.

When we're working

Your working day is ours

Our office hours are 9:00am to 4:30pm in Lagos. That is 9:00 to 4:30 in London during British Summer Time, and 8:00 to 3:30 in winter.

Calls outside that

Book any slot that suits you. Early evening UK time is fine by appointment.

What working with us looks like

Fixed quotes in pounds

After the first call you get a written scope and a fixed price for the first release, in GBP. Invoices are in pounds too, so there is no exchange-rate guesswork on your side.

Your code, your accounts

Repositories, hosting, domains and app store accounts are opened in your company's name. If we parted ways tomorrow, you would lose nothing but us.

A contract under English law

Our services agreement can be governed by the law of England and Wales, so you're not signing up to a legal system you don't know.

UK GDPR handled properly

If we process personal data for you, we sign a data processing agreement and can keep the data in UK or EU hosting.

The tools you already run

Stripe and GoCardless, Xero and QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, HubSpot and Slack, connected properly, with retries and logging.

No chasing for updates

A short written update at the end of each working week: what's done, what's next, and anything we need from you.

What we build

How a project runs

  1. A call at a time that suits you

Thirty minutes on video to understand the problem, who uses it and what it needs to connect to. No charge, no sales script.

  2. A written scope and a fixed quote

Within a few days you get a plain-English scope and a fixed price for the first release. You know the number before you commit to anything.

  3. Working software every week or two

You get a staging link early and see real progress in short cycles, with a written update in between. Feedback goes straight into the next cycle.

  4. Launch, handover and support

We launch, hand over the code, logins and documentation, and fix defects free for the agreed support period. Ongoing support is there if you want it.

Building something for Nigeria from abroad?

That's where we're strongest. If you're launching a fintech, a marketplace or a logistics app for Nigerian customers, we know how people here pay (bank transfer as much as card), how Paystack, Flutterwave and Monnify behave in production, and how to build for mid-range Android phones on congested networks. We can also test with real users in Lagos before you launch.

Common questions

Why hire a software team in Nigeria rather than in the UK?

Cost and availability. You'll pay noticeably less than a London agency for experienced engineers, and because we work almost the same hours, you don't trade the saving for slow communication. The trade-off is that we're not in your office: everything happens on video calls, Slack or Teams, and email.

How do I pay you?

We invoice in pounds. You can pay by bank transfer or by card through a payment link on the invoice.

Who owns the code?

You do, once it's paid for. That's written into our agreement, and the accounts it runs on are in your name from the start.

Can you work alongside our in-house developers?

Yes. We work in your repository, follow your branching and review process, and can take on a clearly defined part of the system while your team owns the rest.

What about power and internet in Lagos?

It's a fair question. Our team works on backup power and more than one internet connection, so a local outage doesn't stop a release or a call.

Do you only work with large companies?

No. Most of our clients are small and growing businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets or an off-the-shelf tool.

Have a project in mind?

A few lines about the problem is enough to start. We'll reply with questions and an honest view of how we'd approach it.
